Homestay message
Hi!
We are a young family just moved to the Southern area of Adelaide. We consist of myself (Adrian) a physiotherapist during the week, Veronica, my partner and Isaac, our 11 month old son. We are an easy-going, active family who enjoy time with friends and family.
We eat a variety of foods ranging from italian, asian, indian while trying to keep a balanced, healthy diet. We enjoy keeping active and healthy. Meals are provided, however facilities are available if you wish to cook.
The room has a single bed, linen provided, desk with bookshelf, built-in wardrobe and alarm clock/radio. Washing is done twice-a-week as well as facilities available as you require. We do expect our guests to help around the house a little bit.
We have computer and internet access available upon request.
Our house is located in a quiet area, 50m from a park and oval, 5 mins walk to two different bus routes and about 10 min walk to the shops/doctor/swimming centre. Flinders Uni is approx 20 mins by bus, city (unisa and adelaide uni) approx 45 mins by train.
We would like you to become part of our family during your stay, whether it be having a barbecue with friends and family or watching a movie on the couch. We are more than happy to go on outings with our student to visit national parks and reserves to watch and feed kangaroos, koalas and other Australian wildlife. We are within 5-10 mins from the beach by car and often go down to relax.
We look forward to learning more about various cultures while at the same time helping integrate young people into the Australian way of life.
